Who is a Physiotherapist?

Physiotherapists are university trained experts in injury diagnosis, injury treatment, exercise prescription, injury prevention, rehabilitation and many other areas of sport, health and fitness.

What do I need to bring?

Be prepared to provide your previous medical or surgical history. If you have them and if they are relevant bring x-ray, scan/MRI reports and list of medication if you are taking any. You may wish to bring shorts and a t-shirt.

How many visits will I need?

The number of treatments required varies from patient to patient. After your assessment, your physiotherapist will discuss your treatment plan with you and will be able to tell you how often he/she wants to see you.

What should I wear to my appointment?

If we are treating your feet you will not be asked to undress but if we are treating your spine, hip or knee you will be asked to wear comfortable loose clothing to allow excess to the body part.

How do I make an appointment?

You can get in touch by phone (613-981-1547), E-mail at [email protected] or use the form under the contact page. Alternatively use the quick and easy online booking page.

Do I have to be referred by a doctor?

No, physiotherapists can assess and treat without referral by a doctor. However most health insurers require a doctors referral before they authorize insurance coverage of fees for treatment or assessment.

If your insurance provider is not on our list, it does not mean you will not be covered. Some insurance companies will only accept claims if you pay and submit yourself. If this is the case, we will let you know and provide you with an invoice that you can provide to your insurance provider. For any outstanding fees or copay, we accept Cash, Interac/Debit, VISA and Mastercard.

We recommend that you check with your insurance company to know your benefits (amount of coverage per year, percentage covered etc)

Call or E-mail us 24 hours before your scheduled time to cancel or reschedule your appointment, failure to do so will result in a CAD 25 charge.
